A favorite purple beech that holds a beautiful narrow, upright form. Selected in Scotland as a chance seedling cross of the green 'Dawyck' Columnar Beech and a purple leaf form, it has become a mainstay in the landscape trade for its consistent dark purple foliage and appealing upright habit.
