Heritage Seedlings & Liners has a long history of land stewardship and habitat restoration in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Under the leadership of founders Mark and Jolly Krautmann, Heritage became widely recognized for demonstrating how working farms and nurseries can support soil health, water quality, wildlife habitat, and long-term ecological resilience.
Over more than 15 years, the Krautmanns led extensive restoration efforts on nursery-owned land, including oak woodland, prairie, riparian, and wetland habitats. Their work emphasized practical, documented approaches to restoration and collaboration between private landowners, agencies, and nonprofit partners.
As Heritage enters a new chapter under new ownership, our commitment to responsible land stewardship remains unchanged.
