Native to upper elevations in the Davis Mountains of West Texas, this evergreen oak is widely adapted, forming shrubs where conditions are harsh - or a 40' tree where more favorable. Deep dark green leaves are backed by white. Under-utilized, this tree is adapted to grow throughout much of the mild West.
