ALma Martinez
The spear of our sales, customer service and shipping coordinator, bringing more than 18 years of experience in the nursery industry. She began her career at Heritage under the guidance of Mark and Jolly and working alongside her brother Octavio, starting in inventory before advancing into sales, developing a strong foundation in plant availability, order accuracy, and logistics. Learning from Jolly to be a strong willed, detail-oriented machine and from Mark, to be strategic, kind and long vision, a visionary like him.
Alma is key to our core management circle, bringing strong skills in leadership, communication, initiative, emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and her ability to adapt to any situation, allows for quick thinking to analyze and trouble shoot. This allows her to apply her deep operational knowledge and industry experience to support efficient sales processes and dependable delivery for customers nationwide. She is especially proud to continue Mark and Jolly’s legacy by upholding the standards, relationships, and values that have long defined Heritage Seedlings. Together, with her brother Octavio, they aim to take Heritage to the next level and keep Mark and Jolly’s legacy alive for many years to come.
