Introduced by Olav Kalleberg, Norway, this sumptuous cross is one of our newest favorites. Glistening white goblet shaped flowers, 8" across are punctuated with deep red stamens and strong, heady fragrance. Perhaps the most fragrant Magnolia. Blossoming in June and July and again in late summer it also forms a well formed tree. Very large leaves are a clear call back to obovata while its hardiness to sieboldii.
