Carpinus japonica 'Silver Lace'

This offers a few unusual deviations on the always attractive Japanese hornbeam; silver foliage, deep serrations on the leaf edge, and rosy pink flushed catkin. Any of these alone would be striking, together they make a delicate, and pretty small tree.
