This thornless honeylocust is a wonderful leguminous tree that does not have the gigantic thorns of straight G. triacanthos. The tree grows to well over 60' high and wide and makes an impressive canopy. Many selections exist and work well as a tough street and parking lot tree. Very adaptable to harsh conditions but grows largest in riparian areas.
