Acer rubrum 'Bowhall'

Selected more than 75 years ago, but still among the best of street trees for areas with summer moisture and acidic soil. Its modest growth rate helps to form a tighter-branched, more tidy tree than ubiquitous ‘Armstrong’. Not as columnar as the variety, ‘Columnare’.
