Much less congested branch structure than seedlings or the varieties 'Fastigiata' and 'Frans Fontaine'. A robust with a strongly upright form as a young tree, it is distinctly pyramidal in winter branch structure. This is a really tough, handsome tree for just about any landscape in Zones 4-8.
