Rare red dwarf dogwood. Ideal for tiny gardens as a true genetic dwarf, staying under 3' for the first 5 years or so, topping out at 7' after a decade. Consistent deep pink/red blooms yearly, flowering late April into May. Dense branching with side-branches gives a mounded appearance. Despite its small stature, the dark-pink/red flowers are of typical of C. florida, 3" diameter, creating a late spring spectacle. Fall colors are attractive orange and toasty brown, creating contrast for the shiny red fruits.
