Cornus × Stellar Nova™ 'Rutstar' PP19/038.066

We are excited to offer this dogwood from the fabled Rutgers University breeding program. It packages up the good attributes of both parents - kousa, and nuttallii - and creates a strong, hardy, and disease-free tree. Upright-growing, the tree is more vigorous than its mother in the nursery and becomes a larger tree. Branches of young trees are smothered in spring by very large, bright-white floral bracts. Vigorous with excellent leaf quality, it tolerates summer heat well.
