Fagus orientalis 'Iskander'

A fastigiate clone from the more heat-tolerant Oriental beech. Form is similar to 'Dawyck' but this has larger, better leaves. Sturdy branches help maintain the upright form longer into its potentially very long life. Reportedly, it is less frequently infested with wooly aphid.
